Web Wizard ("we", "us") is a web design business based in Delvin, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. This policy covers our website and our services.

What we collect

We only collect what we actually need. It comes from three places.

What you give us

• Your name, email address, phone number and any details you send us when you contact us or use our services.
• Billing and shipping details, if you buy something through our website.

We do not store card numbers, except with your permission and inside a secure payment service.

What we collect automatically

• Basic information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system and the site you came from.
• Which pages you look at and which features you use. This helps us improve the site.

What we get from other people

• If you contact us through a referral partner or reseller, they may share your contact details so we can answer your request.
• If you sign in with a service such as LinkedIn or Google, that service may share your contact details with us.

How we use it

• To provide and improve our services, and to manage accounts.
• To answer your questions and tell you about support, changes and policy updates.
• To process orders and payments.
• To send you marketing, only if you agree.
• To see how the website is used and make it better.
• To prevent misuse, and to meet legal duties.

We rely on your consent, or on what we need to do to provide the service. Where neither applies, we rely on our legitimate business interests or another legal reason. You can choose not to give us some information, or opt out later. Turning off cookies may affect some features. We do not load non-essential third-party cookies without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who help us run our services, such as our hosting company. They must have a good reason to see the information and must keep it secure.
• Payment services that process your payments.
• Law enforcement or government officials, when the law requires it.

Only people who need your information can access it. We may also share it to prevent fraud, enforce a contract or protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy. When we no longer need it, we delete it securely or make it anonymous.

If you use our services with customer or employee data, that is your service data. You own it. We protect it, limit access to it and handle it only on your instructions. You can access it, export it or ask us to delete it. We keep it while you use our services. After your account ends, we remove it from our live database within 6 months, and from backups within 3 months after that.

Keeping it safe

We use sensible security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, sharing or misuse. No method of sending data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Cookies

We use cookies to understand how people use the site. Essential cookies always run. Analytics and advertising cookies only load after you say yes on our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time.

These keep the site working and cannot be turned off.

• csrftoken protects our forms against forged requests. It lasts 1 year.
• sessionid keeps you signed in during your visit. It lasts 2 weeks.
• ww_cookie_consent remembers your cookie choice. It lasts 30 days.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 to see page views, visit length and behaviour, without naming you. Google LLC (US) processes the data. Cookies: _ga (2 years), _gid (24 hours) and _ga_* (varies). Read Google's privacy policy.

Advertising cookies (only with your consent)

• Google Ads. We use conversion tracking to see whether our adverts lead to enquiries, through Google Consent Mode v2. If you accept advertising cookies, Google sets the _gcl_au cookie (3 months) and full tracking runs. If you reject them, the tag still loads but sets no cookie, and only anonymous, combined signals go to Google. We collect and store no personal data in that mode. Google LLC (US) processes the data.
• Meta Pixel. This tracks page views and conversions for our Facebook and Instagram adverts, and helps build audiences. It only loads after you accept advertising cookies. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd processes the data. Cookie: _fbp (3 months). Read Meta's privacy policy.

All the cookies we use

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. You can also ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for a copy you can move elsewhere, or object to how we use it. These are the rights the European Economic Area gives you under GDPR, and we respect them for everyone.

To use any of them, contact us and we will guide you through it.

Other things to know

• We may have to share personal information for legal reasons, to prevent fraud, to enforce a contract or to protect someone's safety.
• We do not currently act on Do Not Track signals from browsers. When a universal standard exists, we will follow it.
• Other websites and social media buttons have their own privacy policies. Read them before you share personal information.
• You can ask us for a GDPR Data Processing Addendum, report a concern about information collected from children, or ask us to remove your information from our blogs or forums.
• We may update this policy from time to time. When something important changes, we will post the new version on this page.
