Electrician website design Two taps from a search result to your phone ringing
Electrical work is either planned months ahead or needed in the next hour, and the same website has to serve both. We build the urgent path first and let everything else sit behind it.
- emergency page
- one screen
- registration shown
- every page
Your registration number is a selling point, not small print
Anyone can call themselves an electrician on a website. Only a Registered Electrical Contractor can put a Safe Electric number beside the claim.
- Safe Electric number in the footer On every page, not just the about page, since that is where people go looking for it.
- Insurance cover stated Letting agents and builders ask before they ring. Say it before they have to.
- Who signs the certificate For jobs that need to be signed off, and what the customer actually gets once it is done.
- Counties you travel to And the ones you do not, so half your enquiries are not out of range.
- Hours, and the out-of-hours rate Whether calling after six means a different price. People would rather know now.
- The emergency page, above everything One screen: what you fix, your number as a tap-to-call button, your hours and what it costs to come out.
Safe Electric replaced RECI in 2023
If your current site still says RECI, it reads as out of date to exactly the customer who knows the difference. Worth fixing on its own, or as part of a wider redesign.
Two kinds of customer, six searches worth their own page
A homeowner pricing a rewire wants mess, timescale and whether you will come back to make good. A facilities manager wants certification and a single point of contact. One page for both blurs both.
- Rewires and consumer units Priced and explained for a homeowner who has never had one done before.
- EV charger installation Now its own search and its own grant conversation, separate from general electrical work.
- Fault finding and repairs Often the urgent search. A page that ranks for it catches people before the emergency page does.
- Landlord certification A search with its own deadline, like a BER assessment or a periodic inspection for a landlord.
- Commercial and fit-out testing Written for whoever manages the building, not a homeowner, since they search for it differently.
- A number you can actually tap Not an image of a number. The single most common fault we see on the sites we replace.
Want to see how a project actually runs?
From the first call to the site going live, the process is the same whatever the trade.
Websites for the other trades
The structure changes with the trade. Urgency drives yours, photographs drive a carpenter's, and reassurance drives a roofer's.
- All Construction & Trade Websites Every trade we build for, in one place, if you are not sure this is the closest fit. See the hub
- Carpenter Website Design Built around a photo gallery, since joinery is bought on sight. Carpenter websites
- Roofing Website Design Built around reassurance, since a roof is bought once or twice in a lifetime. Roofing websites
- Painter Website Design Built around matched before and after photographs. Painter websites
